SafeInCloud Password Manager Pro Review

Keep on forgetting passwords. Need a solution. Simple, just use a good password manager. But you may ask, what are all the things to check for in a good password manager. Don’t fret, I will provide you the features which are must for a good password manager.

  • A strong encryption (well, what’s the point if it is not that secured)
  • Simple and intuitive
  • Cloud Synchronization and Cross platform
  • Bio-metric enabled (because don’t forget, even to open the password manager you need a password)
  • Price – Value for money (Always prefer one time purchase than subscription based payment)

I personally use the SafeInCloud Password Manager for last 5 years and it ticks all the above mentioned features and more.

SECURITY:

Just to get started, SafeInCloud uses a strong 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard on all devices you use including the cloud storage.

There are multiple useful security options in the settings which will make your daily interaction with the app a very satisfying one.

To open the app you can use Bio-metrics or even the face unlock feature.

CLOUD SYNC:

SafeInCloud supports Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Yandex and your own NAS server (WebDAV) for cloud sync.

The best part what I like about SafeInCloud is that you will be able to access the data across multiple different devices without any hassles. The app automatically syncs between different platforms. You like typing on a traditional keyboard rather than a mobile. Then just key in the details from the SafeInCloud Desktop/MAC FREE app and get it synced with Android/iOS version. It just works. Plain and simple.

CROSS PLATFORM:

The app whether for the Android/iOS version or for the Desktop/MAC is very simple to use. You can use cards or simple notes to jot down the important data. I personally like to use the notes as entering data is easier that way. Although the advantage of using cards is that you can get it autofill the passwords in browsers and apps if you want.

PRICE:
The pro license of the app is priced USD 4.99 on Google Play Store/Apple App Store and the Desktop/MAC version of it is Free to use. There is also a Family Pro version of the app which costs USD 7.99 (Can be shared with up to 5 members of Google Play Family/iCloud Family Sharing Library). There is no subscription either which is a good thing.

The app provides a 2 week free trial where you will be able to test out the Pro features of it, which in my opinion is quite good and gives ample time for a user to take a decision.

CONCLUSION:
The support for the app is very good and is updated frequently. SafeInCloud may not be as popular as LastPass but makes it up with an intuitive and simple navigation, cross-platform nature and a great price. Not to forget the robust encryption what it uses to protect your important data.
